Ms Thanya Arumugam Clinical psychologist | Supporting Mental Health & Personal Growth

Education:- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology
Experience:- 3+ years

I hold an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology and am registered with the Rehabilitation Council of
India. My academic and clinical work have primarily focused on understanding the complex interplay between emotions, attachment patterns and the mind-body connection. My areas of interest include exploring how early relational experiences influence emotional regulation, self-concept, and interpersonal functioning across the lifespan.

Here’s a quick hello from her:

Her therapeutic approach:

I believe therapy is a space to explore, understand, and reconnect with yourself. My approach is integrative, blending evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, client-centered focus. Together, we navigate emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and the challenges that weigh on your mind and body, helping you gain clarity, balance, and self-understanding.

Every journey is unique, and therapy is about meeting you where you are, supporting you in
making choices, expressing emotions, and building a life that feels authentic and grounded.

What our first conversation might look like

Your first session is an opportunity to pause, slow down, and bring your experiences into focus.
We will gently explore what feels challenging, what matters most to you, and what you hope to
understand about yourself. Together, we’ll create a supportive space where your thoughts and
feelings can be noticed, understood, and approached with curiosity.
